“THIS MAY BE THE NEW CURE FOR JET LAG”

This illustration went with an article discussing jet lag's causes and potential cures. My goal was to represent the juxtaposition between a person’s internal clock and the actual time after they have been traveling. Here, the internal clock (the man) is out of sync with the time zone he’s actually in - represented by the watch. Behind him is a world map showing common flight patterns and time zones.

“8 SMART, AND EASY WAYS TO TRAVEL FOR LESS IN 2024”

This article detailed the reality of rising travel prices in the past year and showed people how they could still enjoy their time off without sacrificing their life savings to do so. To accompany that sentiment, I chose to illustrate two people exploring the possibilities their money could get them. The message of saving money while on vacation is shown through the figures’ relationship to the dollar bill and that they are illustrated using colors associated with money.
